Through MDC's partnership with the US Forest Service State and Private Forestry and the Northeast Midwest State Forester Alliance (NMSFA) – Forest Markets Committee Missouri was part: a large regional economic assessment looking at the contribution the forest products industry has on the 20 states that made up the NMSFA geography. Note that the analysis is based on data from 2017 which is the most current year for which data was broadly available across all 20 states. This analysis employs a broader definition of the forest product industry than other MDC analyses.
